Vivo Y31s is the first phone to come with the Snapdragon 480

Vivo Y31s was the first phone to come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. The entry-level 5G feature is coming.

Last week, Qualcomm announced its new entry-level processor Snapdragon 480. The entry-level processor attracted attention with its 5G feature to affordable models that use most 400 series processors. The first phone to use this processor was announced as of today. Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo introduced the Vivo Y31s, the first phone to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 480, at the CES fair.

Vivo Y31s features

Vivo Y31s, 6.58 inches in size FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate with IPS LCD comes on-screen together. The phone, which adopts the thin bezel design that has become the standard today, has placed its 8 MP camera on the water drop notch. On the back, there is a dual camera array. These main camera with 13 MP resolution and depth sensor with 2 MP resolution. Thanks to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor, the phone has both mm wavelength and sub6 5G technology. 4/6 GB RAM of the Y31s with a 5,000 mAh battery charging at 18W and 128 GB storage option. The device comes out of the box with FunTouch OS 10.5, which is installed on Android 11.

Phone Price

Vivo Y31s meets users with two different price options. These; GB 4 GB RAM 128 has a storage option 1.498CNY (232$) models and 6 GB of RAM 128 storage options with 1.698 CNY (262$) of the top model. The device will probably be the most suitable model to offer 5G feature on smartphones. Not so much, considering that the first phones that came out with 5G feature a year or two ago had a price tag of $1000 and above, this is a very good development.
