Tighten the tip The tip of the
Apple Pencil can be changed if necessary.
Sometimes the tip of the Apple Pencil may become loose over time after prolonged use and this can affect its functionality. Therefore, retighten the tip of the pen without applying too much pressure. Alternatively, you can replace the tip of the Apple Pencil with a new one. A replacement tip is included in the scope of delivery, additional tips are available from retailers.
Charge Apple PencilAn empty battery is often the reason why an Apple Pencil is no longer working. First, check how the device battery is working in the "Today" view under "Batteries". If the Apple Pencil is completely empty, it may take several minutes for the pen to recharge and reappear in the "Battery" view.

Restart iPad When the
Apple Pencil isn't working, it doesn't always have to be the pencil itself. Sometimes the problem lies in the iPad to which the Pen is connected. Restarting the tablet or factory reset if necessary usually helps in fixing the problem.
Apple Pencil If Apple Pencil still doesn't work, you should check the Bluetooth connection between iPad and pencil. If in doubt, remove the pen and then pair it again.
Unpair Apple Pencil
Go to the "Settings> Bluetooth" menu on
iPad, tap the "i" icon next to Apple Pencil.
Then choose "Ignore this device".
Pair Apple Pencil again
To remap an Apple Pencil (1st generation), you need to remove the cap on the end and connect it to the Lightning connector on the iPad.
To remap an Apple Pencil (2nd generation), you need to center the pin in the magnetic connector on the right side of the iPad.
