POCO M2 Pro Receives February 2021 Security Patch

POCO, operating as one of Xiaomi's sub-brands, has presented a new update to the M2 Pro model , which it introduced in July 2020 . The phone, which has mid-segment features, was suitable for today's trends in many respects. Especially X3 NFC with the model of Turkey brand in the market is remarkable, M2 Pro Android 10 was introduced with. While the phone has been waiting for Android 11 for a while, the new update released yesterday created little excitement. However, this excitement did not last long.

Released Update for POCO M2 Pro February 2021 Security Patch

While everyone was waiting for Android 11, the update phone got the February 2021 security patch. While the size of the update published over OTA was 587 MB , there was no improvement on the Android front. So the POCO M2 Pro still runs Android 10. Other than that, there is no innovation. In addition, according to what is written in the update log, this package makes the phone more stable.

The POCO M2 Pro, which has a 6.67-inch  FHD+ resolution AMOLED display, is powered by Snapdragon 720G. This chip has an 8nm manufacturing process. It is also supported by Adreno 618. Apart from that, 4GB6GB RAM and 64GB128GB storage accompany the phone. The resolution of the cameras on the back is 48MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP, while the front camera has 16MP resolution. Finally, the phone brings a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
