Samsung announces One UI 3.0 beta program for M31 phones

Samsung started to bring the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update to upper segment devices, especially the Galaxy S and Note series. Now, the update comes to mid-range phones, starting with the Galaxy M31.

Samsung recently announced the One UI 3.0 beta program for the Galaxy M31 for India and started enrolling in the beta program as of today. The first beta software update, named M315FDDU2ZTLF, brings Android 11 to the device with the December 2020 security patch, which is expected to improve the security of the device . At the same time, the new update is likely to bring a new interface to the device, as well as a performance improvement. However, with the update, some problems in the device are expected to be resolved and certain optimizations are also expected.

For now, users who can participate in beta only from India can join the program by clicking on the registration section in the Samsung Members application. After being accepted into the program, it can be checked whether there is an update in the Settings and Software update section of the phone. Afterwards, the download and installation process can be done.

Samsung may bring final version sooner
