Fitbit is preparing for a major update for some of its current smartwatchesAccording to the information transferred by Wareable, the new health data will be activated for Charge 4. Google bought the Fitbit company a while ago. We were eagerly anticipating what changes would happen in the company after this acquisition. The company has been working on updates for a while to keep some of its current models up to date. As a result, we have learned that feature updates and fixes will support these devices.
Charge 4 users will be able to access oxygen information in the blood. Previously, they could only access sleep data. In addition, this update adds information such as skin temperature data that was not previously available for the device.
Charge 4, Versa 2 and Inspire 2 users will be able to access health metrics included in the Premium subscription. With these metrics, users will be able to access information such as breathing rate and heart rate variability during sleep. Of course, this update will contain less than the Premium subscription, but it would not be correct to say that there is a lot of difference between them. Premium subscribers can get 1 month report while free subscription will have access to 1 week data.
Fitbit also continues to offer its EKG feature to customers in Canada, New Zealand and the US regions.
This update shows us that Fitbit is proactively addressing issues. It supports Charge 4 with the updates it has published for almost 1 year. For this reason, it would not be wrong to say that the company is listening to users even though there are some problems with past devices.
